This system consists of three high-strength components: a deadbolt cover (the Helmet), a door-reinforcing plate (the Shield), and a large strike-plate (the Striker).

The Helmet is a high-strength cover which wraps around the door jamb to prevent wedging the door open. It is designed to protect the deadbolt lockset from damage, vandalism, and attempts to defeat it by force.
The Shield reinforces the inside of the door. The Helmet and Shield protect the door from breakage by clamping the door together where it has been weakened by the latch-hole, preventing the door from being split by impact.
The Striker is a high-strength steel strike-plate which attaches to the 2x6 door framework with six 3-inch-long high-strength screws. This piece prevents an intruder from forcing the door open, either by impact or by wedging.

The DEADBOLT Helmet, Shield and Striker is available in
2-3/8, 2-3/4 and 5 inch backsets.

The Helmet is finished in primer-powdercoat, ready to be finished in a color complimentary to the building. The Shield and Striker are finished in high-quality white powdercoat.
